_WELCOME
Over the past six years Little Scholar Productions has produced four professional animated films as well as over 50 animated films with young people within schools and media centres across the country. We have now established ourselves as the main provider of animation workshops for young people within the Midlands, with the aim of bring animation workshops to as many Midland students as possible.
Our animation school was established to fulfill the following objectives:
- Facilitate regular animation workshops within schools.
- Create out of school workshops during holidays, evenings and weekends.
- Facilitate animation workshops within rural and inner city areas.
- Develop young people's technological and creative skills through film development.
- Facilitate workshops within special needs schools and centres.
- Revisit students with more workshops in order to further develop their skills.
- Create films with young people for film festivals, competitions and television.
- Work with young offenders and teenagers with behavior difficulties.
- Facilitate workshops within specialist buildings such as museums, places of worship, prisons, libraries and community centres.
- Work with local governments to meet Extended Learning and extra curriculum targets.

Cell Workshop at the Animation Station
From October 1st Lee Skinner will be facilitating an eight week cell animation workshop at the Animation Station, Banbury. Each session will run for two hours every Monday evening. See www.animationstation.co.uk for more details.
Live Action/CGI workshop at Heathfield Primary School
Over the forthcoming school term Little Scholar Productions will be facilitating its fourth animation workshop with Heathfield Primary School. We have already facilitated a cell, plasticine and collage animation workshop at the school.
FLIP Animation Festival, Wolverhampton. 1st-3rd November 2007
Little Scholar Productions, the Animation Station and the University of Bath have all submitted films created by young people into this year’s festival, all of which were facilitated by Lee Skinner.
Plasticine Animation Workshop. October 22nd -24th 2007
Little Scholar Productions has co-ordinated a three day plasticine animation workshop at Hatchford brook Youth and Community Centre in Solihull. The course is open to anyone aged between 11 and 18. Please contact Lee Skinner for more details.
Animated Solihull. January-February 2008
Over these two months Little Scholar Productions will be facilitating ten films within ten Solihull schools and community centres. These films will then be screened at a local film festival organised by Little Scholar Productions at the end of February 2008.
